AIDA 1 Kurs

AIDA 1  FREEDIVING  BEGINNER


Prerequisites:

Be 18 years of age or older (16 or 17 years old with parent or guardian consent)

Be able to swim at least 100m non-stop

Minimum water sessions: 1



This course offers a basic knowledge of freediving and introductory skills such as relaxation of body and mind, finning techniques, duck dives and equalisation.

AIDA 2 Kurs

AIDA2  FREEDIVER  COURSE


Prerequisites:

Be 18 years of age or older (16 or 17 years old with parent or guardian consent)

Can swim at least 200m non-stop without fins or at least 300m non-stop with mask, fins and snorkel


Requirements: 2 minutes STA, 40 meters DYN, 12 meters CWT, theoretical exam


                                                                                    Minimum water sessions: 5


The static and dynamic sessions in confined water are used to teach relaxation, breathing, finning and safety techniques. In the open water sessions students will apply the skills they have learned in the pool / confined water sessions and combine them with the basic skills of open water freediving such as equalizing, duck diving, vertical swimming, body positioning, turns and use of buoyancy.

The freediving theory will include: Introduction to Freediving, Freediving Breathing Cycle, Basic Physiology of Freediving, Equalization, Freediving Techniques, Safety in Freediving, Equipment in Freediving, Freediving Disciplines.

AIDA 3 Kurs

AIDA3  ADVANCED FREEDIVER


Prerequisites:

Be 18 years of age or older (16 or 17 years old with parent or guardian consent)

Can swim at least 200m non-stop without fins or at least 300m non-stop with mask, fins and snorkel

Have completed the AIDA2 course or have completed the AIDA2 Crossover Evaluation if crossing over from another freediving agency


Requirements: 2:45 minutes STA; 55 meters DYN, 24 meters CWT, theoretical exam


Minimum water sessions: 6


The course is designed to further develop skills from previous levels, to acquire new skills and gain a higher knowledge of safety procedures and techniques. The new techniques that are introduced are free-fall, Frenzel Equalizing, the use of training tables, the risks of increasing and decreasing pressure and also how to minimize these risks. Students will train these skills in the most common disciplines of freediving: Static Apnoea, Dynamic Apnoea, Free Immersion and Constant Weight.

The theory will include: Physiology, Equalization, Barotrauma, Lungs at Depth, Buoyancy, Shallow Water Blackout, Training Concepts, The Mammalian Dive Response, Decompression Sickness , Surface Intervals and the Freediver's Code of Conduct.

AIDA Combo Kurs

COMBO COURSE FROM BEGINNER TO FREEDIVER 1 WEEK


Combining the Beginner and Freediver course, with a total length of 7 days, Combo Course provides a perfect opportunity for students who want to start and immediately progress to freedive deeper.



It consists of three main phases:

Knowledge development about fundamental and advanced freediving skills and techniques needed for deeper diving.


Confined water sessions to learn and refine breath hold techniques as well as static and dynamic apnea.


Open water sessions to practice free immersion, Frenzel equalization and constant weight freedives along with buoyancy control and Freefall, as well as buddy procedures and rescue techniques. 


By the end of the course you will be able to perform a 2 minute breath-hold, swim 40 meters underwater with fins and dive comfortably between 12 and 20 meters depth.

FREEDIVING impressions

REGULATIONS & SAFETY MEASURES

Regulations


Booking a course or training with us, involves the acceptance of every point of this regulations and safety measures.

The onebreath4sea management reserves the right not to allow participation in diving activities to those who have previously violated the norms of this regulation.

  • Training price does not include equipment rental. Use of equipment is included in all the courses.
  • In order to confirm your booking, we require 50% deposit from the final product price. 
  • Use of weights is free of charge, but we collect the deposit of 30€, which is kept in case of a loss.
  • For the liability reasons, onebreath4sea does not rent/borrow safety lanyards.
  • Single training coupon is valid for a single person and for a single training session.
  • Training coupons are personal and non-transferable to third parties.
  • Only the reservation ensures access to the training, which needs to be done 1 day in advance with a deadline at 5:00 PM. Once the reservation is completed, the coupon is not refundable.
  • In case the training session is canceled because of abnormal situations (bad weather, boat failure, etc), the coupon is not charged.


Booking cancellations & refunds

You may cancel your booking by notifying us by email or WhatsApp.

Refunds for deposits or pre-paid training sessions and educational courses are possible if the booking is cancelled more than 30 calendar days before the booked date of the course/training. 

For cancellations received 30 days or less before the booked date of the course/training, payment is non-refundable.



Safety measures


Safety is our primary concern. In order to provide the safest training environment possible, please adhere to the following rules:

  • Before diving with us, the diver needs to fill-in the registration form (liability and medical statement).
  • Diving Insurance is provided only to students of educational courses. Freedivers taking part in training sessions need to provide their own diving insurance. 
  • Diving is allowed only when accompanied by a onebreath4sea staff instructor.
  • The diver is responsible of informing the onebreath4sea staff instructor about his diveplan.
  • Diving is allowed only on the buoy or main line. The buoy must be attached to the surface line at all times.
  • Open line diving is not permitted. 
  • Personal lanyards are mandatory for all dives and must comply with AIDA safety standards.
  • Divers are not allowed to remove their lanyard during a dive unless a safety concern arises.
  • Decompression O2 stop is available at depth (max 5m) for Scuba Certified divers or at surface for non Scuba Certified divers.
  • The lanyard must be used during the decompression stop, attached to the deco line.
